Quartz is non-porous and nearly maintenance-free, with consistent patterns. Granite is a natural stone with unique movement in every slab and excellent heat resistance. We will help you compare both at your consultation.
Porcelain and ultra-compact surfaces such as Dekton are fired at very high temperatures. They resist heat, stains, scratches and UV light, and come in large, thin slabs ideal for islands and walls.
Quartz and porcelain are very consistent. Natural stone like granite varies from lot to lot, so we recommend confirming the actual slab before fabrication.
Most projects are installed within about two weeks of templating, depending on material and slab availability. The installation itself usually takes one day.
After you choose your stone, we measure your cabinets precisely and plan seams, overhangs and cut-outs so your countertops fit perfectly.
Yes. Cabinets need to be installed, level and secured before we can template your countertops.
Wipe quartz and porcelain with warm water and mild soap. Granite can be cleaned the same way and may benefit from periodic sealing. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads.
